UWOFA Scholarships
The Scholarships being presented have been made possible through the personal contributions of faculty members and Librarians and Archivists at Western. The initiative for these scholarships dates back to 1969, at that time professor Don McCullar from the Faculty of Music began a voluntary drive to raise money for student scholarships. Today, the scholarships are funded from dues collected from members of the faculty and Librarian and Archivists bargaining units. As far as we know UWOFA is one of the only faculty associations in Canada to support students through scholarships.
For decades, UWOFA members have encouraged and recognized our best students in this tangible way. Congratulation to all the students who have demonstrated excellence in their university studies!
